George III light oak housekeepers cupboard, the upper section with 4 cupboards over 6 drawer base. 232cm long 52cm deep and 199cm tall.
Later replacement handles, section of cornice and upper area of cabinet cut out and replaced where this has once allowed for a beam to enable the cupboard to fit in situ. Comes into two sections. As expected, old woodworm is present though mainly to rear planks with some evidence of it to the sides of the piece and the shelves also though it isn’t too apparent thankfully. There is some replacement carved decoration to the right hand side when facing it and a section of missing trim to top left side as photographed. The middle shelves have also bowed a little over time. The top unit may have been a slightly later addition to the piece to compliment the base.
